Referred by one of her friends, Jenny didn't think too much for booking me as her hair and makeup artist at both of her wedding days. Jenny is that kind of person who knows what she likes and dislikes very much. Hence, I got a powerpoint of bridal styles for reference from her, such an efficient way to communicate the looks! For the front -- slicked back or a long swooped side fringe. For the back -- no low buns, no side-swepts, no half-up half-downs, oops, I only have a high bun or a french twist to choose, ha. Some hairstylists would probably see it as restraint on their creativity; however, do as much as possible of what we can do within limitations is actually our value. And this is exactly what she was expecting on her big day, those are the looks she won't feel discomfort with or think 'what the hell was I thinking' when she looks back. Here are the looks for her: A slicked back 'do for her wedding gown with different hair adornments at two receptions. A low ponytail for her gold dress with a slight change to the shape of her fringe. Hair down for the flowy, princess-like dress and an elegant updo for the sophisticated mermaid dress. Just a little twist and you will see how different a bride is, that's why I love bridal styling so much!
