May's younger sister had been styled by me few years ago, the destiny linked us for sure! The bride rarely wears makeup, even we had makeup trial beforehand, she still felt uneasy on the day. I tried to put on less eyeshadows on her eyes and used neutral tones, making the eye makeup more clear also emphasizing her eyes at the same time which May and her husband liked very much! There was a Chinese tea ceremony in the early morning and a simple yet elegant updo would suit her red dress very well. For the bridal dress, a loosely pull back hairstyle is the best bet because the newlyweds would give the bride's parents a kowtow before she was taken by the groom which is part of the chinese wedding custom. There came the reception after the first entrance as newlyweds, the red dress was worn again for toasting to the guests, of course I'd think of a different hairstyle for May. I clipped a hair extension on her to create a lively high ponytail also used some trick to make the hair extension not to look false. It really depends on the experiences and improvisation! And for her last blush colour dress, an half-up, half-down is always flattering and it did look well on May!
