Real Bride | Elyse | France wedding | Destination wedding | Chateau wedding | 海外婚禮 | 法國新秘24/10/2018 It was totally a fairytale like wedding I've ever seen! The groom and the bride were just prince and princess alike. Elyse found me on Instagram and booked me to be her mua on her wedding day after the trial, thank you Elyse! Their family and friends live in the States and Taiwan respectively, hence they chose France as their wedding location. The main reason was that the groom wanted his bride to be a princess for one day, he actually searched for a chateau before he proposed! How sweet he is. <3 Not like the most of Taiwanese brides who normally have three or four looks for the wedding day, Elyse preferred to just have two different looks, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. She brought two different styles of rental dresses to France and I have to say, both were so fabulous! The first one was an A-line dress which was light and flowy for Elyse to move and it was so sexy with a plunge at the front and also blackless. The second dress was a sheer dress with a overlay layered skirt, gave it kinda funky and quirky vibe. For Elyse's makeup, we both agree to make it simple yet elegant. So I used brown eyeliner and earth tone eyeshadows to accentuate her eyes, which also gave her that kind of soft and feminine look. Makeup is about PROPORTION, not just extremely enlarge eyes or slim face because when you look back on ten or twenty years, you still want to recognize who she is in the pictures. It was a lovely and intimate wedding for less than 50 guests which I like very much! Hope you also like the look I've created for her. Photography by John Armstrong-Millar
