Makeup Hacks | Riki Skinny review | Riki Loves Riki | LED vanity mirror

Riki Skinny caught my eye on Instagram and I just couldn't help to get one for Christmas. Yeah, a good reason for buying stuff, haha. 

Coming from GLAMCOR who designs and builds LED-lighted products for professionals, the sub-brand Riki Loves Riki is more closer to public taste, their mirrors are not only functional but also pretty. Riki Skinny is definitely the most popular style for Instagramer or KOL, and it also has been nominated as Oprah's Favourite Thing for 2019!

It's lightweight (1.5lbs/0.68kg), hence easy to travel with. It comes with an adjustable stand, a magnetic phone clip, and a magnetic 3x mirror. And the beauty of the Riki Skinny is that it connects your phone via bluetooth so you can take a selfie with your phone attached on the mirror which is fascinating. The dual voltage is also great for traveling abroad with. 

Riki Skinny has 5 stages of brightness and the most appealing part to me is its natural light simulating LEDs to ensure you always look your best. That's why I think it's a good investment for me as a makeup artist. Sometimes I'd encounter a situation that there is no enough light or wrong light to do the makeup for my clients and Riki Skinny surely can help me out!

Just check the pictures under (I was totally not wearing any makeup and of course the pictures have not been edited at all), they are stage 1, 3, and 5 of brightness from the left side and the stage 5 in a total dark room.  

I'm happy with the outcome and the picture says it! It was taken in daytime with stage 1 brightness. Who needs filters or photoshop when you have a Riki Skinny, right?
